Martin Mirel

Martin Mirel is a dedicated advocate for ocean conservation and the preservation of aquatic life, serving as a Marine Science Advisor for Coastal Renewal. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College, specializing in Adaptive Animal Education, and a second Bachelor of Science from Lehman College with concentrations in Psychology, Biology, and Kinesiology.

Combining his multidisciplinary expertise in animal behavior, biological sciences, and human-environment interaction, Martin brings a unique perspective to the mission of protecting marine ecosystems. At Coastal Renewal, he provides scientific guidance on sustainable practices, educational outreach, and evidence-based strategies for ocean preservation—helping ensure that every initiative, including the company’s ocean-themed merchandise line, contributes meaningfully to the health of our planet’s waters.
